Terms of service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. The service
Tagwyse lets people who scan your card reach you about your vehicle or belongings without seeing your phone number. They can pick a reason and add a message, photo or voice note, and we notify you in the Tagwyse app, by email or by SMS.
Tagwyse is not an emergency, security, towing, tracking or recovery service. We are not responsible for missed or delayed alerts, parking fines, towing, damage, lost property or any resulting loss.
2. Plans
- Free: one free tag per account. You print the card yourself. The free period is 6 months and starts when you first scan and activate the card.
- Paid: 12 months per payment, including a printed card (except when you choose not to receive a new one). If you pay before your current period ends, the new year starts when the current one ends.
- When a period ends, the tag keeps working for 14 days (grace period). After that, people who scan it can no longer contact you until you renew.
- Customers of the previous Tagwyse service keep the lifetime terms they bought.
3. Fair use
To prevent abuse, alerts to one tag are limited (for example, one alert every few minutes and a daily maximum), and senders are limited in how often they can send. Photos and voice notes are kept for 30 days on the free plan and 90 days on paid plans.
4. People who scan
You must not send false, threatening, harassing or offensive messages, links or media. Owners can block and report senders. We may block senders, remove content and suspend accounts that misuse the service.
5. Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your mobile number. Keep your phone secure. Disable your tag if you sell the vehicle or lose the card.
6. Payments
Prices are in Sri Lankan rupees and shown before you pay. Card payments are processed by PayHere; we never see or store your card details. Bank transfer and cash-on-delivery orders start when we receive the payment.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes before they take effect.
